The other day I got an envelope in the mail from my shoulder surgeons offiice, they mailed me my plate and screws!
I had that shit in my shoulder for a year! It felt (and feels) SO good to get it out, it really felt unnatural and distracting, can’t wait for everything to be rock solid again.
I read a “tweet” that Ed Wonka hurt his shoulder at the Red Bull event, bummer to hear, sounds like it was a similar part of the shoulder. I definitely have sympathy for healing and shit now. Also, hope Gus is feeling okay too, heard he went down hard.
Here’s a sick combo drawing thing I have sitting in the YNOT studio. The foreground is a badass double headed cobra drawn by local messenger/artist Salon John. He wants a Cobra bag and we’re hoping to do a series of them with this image as a patch or print. Behind the snake are two quick sketches of my girlfriend Marnie, drawn by our friend Miyako. Her sketches take only seconds but capture nuances so well. Anyways, I stacked the two pieces of art because I only had one frame and I thought it looked fucking cool!
