OOQI Grips!

A local pair of social entrepreneurs approached Tony and I for input on a product they have been developing.  We chatted with them and passed on our ‘sage wisdom’ and told them that when they go live we’d help out by sharing it with the world.  Well, they launched it and here I am sharing it!

So, the grips are big and fat and are actually super comfy.  I told them straight up that they wouldn’t be ideal for doing tricks but I’m sure they’ll find a place in the hearts of the people that flock to silly coloured Oury’s.

The grips are still slightly conceptual and they are raising funds for the injection moulding process via a cool site called Kickstarter.  Basically, the way it works is people make pledges of varying sizes and that gets you various things, but only if their total goal amount is reached.  So if you’re into what they are doing go to their kickstarter page and give them some money!

The guys doing the project have a great attitude and I wish them good luck!
