Strap Video, Toronto Star etc.

I caught that shot while waiting for the ferry back from Ward’s Island, when you get to the beach you wind up feeling very far away in the sand and sun!

This past Friday we had this crazy event swing through our workshop around 9PM.  It was called StyleSpin and they wound through our end of the city hitting several different studios and make-places.  There was a reporter and a photographer from the Toronto Star (biggest newspaper in the city) among the blob of people there and the cool photographer named Lucas Oleniuk took this shot of me and it ran on the front of the Entertainment&Living section!

Anyways, things have been frantic with YNOT and the puppy and life, but all in a good way and Marnie and I are juggling our jobs and everything well.  Lots of fun!  Marnie’s boss even bought a YNOT bag!

Check out the new pedal strap video we made, our buddy Nick Iwanyshyn filmed and edited it for us and it came out really cool.  We have all sorts of cool ideas for videos to make soon, we are even going to take a stab at making a GOOD tutorial for once!

I really like this shot of Marnie carrying Ruby onto the ferry to the island.  I was dragging Ruby’s puppy trailer behind the Surly Steamroller while snapping this shot, also, we are the first two people of a mass of a couple hundred behind us.  I love how Ruby is looking back at me!

On Saturday I rode with Jackson, Misha, Dennis and Phillip Williams.  It was my first time meeting Phillip and I was stoked because I had seen his first edits and was excited to see that we had a local BMX guy switch over finally, haha.

Here’s his newest edit:

Anyways, lots more everything soon!
